A visual snippet

Here’s a part of the map that you haven’t seen yet and neither has anyone but the people who scanned it yesterday and a few people in choir last night.  North is at the top, South at the bottom, East to the right, and West to the left.

This part isn’t finished, obviously.   But I thought you might enjoy an unfinished snippet of map.   Those are salt lakes, enlarging when it rains and then drying again.   The mountains on the right are the Westmounts (if you’re in Aarenis) and the ones at the top are between this area and southern Fintha, mostly, thougha bit of western Tsaia is up there too.   Fin Panir is out of sight to the north.    There will be more scattered ranges in  the blank areas and maybe some other interesting bits.

Very cool. I’m excited to see the new map when it’s all done. I keep wondering if there’s going to be a place with the historical “There Be Dragons” inscription, though in this case it might be literal 🙂

I love it. I can lose myself in maps at the best of times, and yours is shaping up to be a thing of beauty.

I’m having fun…though I still can’t hold the right position to work on it very long at a time.

Ah…catching up on Paksworld doings. I think the map is great! I can’t wait to see the finished piece. It will be a work of art. Keep at it, and it will be worth persevering.
