Whew….

It was a very busy day.  So will this be, but at least the suspense before launch is now down a notch.

Reminder: this is a spoiler-free zone for awhile.   When I do open a topic for discussion of Oath of Fealty, it will be signposted as having spoilers, so those of you who don’t like them will find it easy to avoid.  (No spoilers in my entry post, for instance.)   But for at least the first week or two,  we’re not discussing the book (though unbounded adulation is always appropriate, says the Authorial Ego.  The Authorial Ego won’t shut up.)

Today’s schedule is hardly less busy, but it’s all back room work, not being out in the public eye.   Work on revisions and call Editor about the one that’s not coming clear.   Work on copyedits for UK edition of the Gird/Luap omnibus.    Install new printer.  Print business cards.   Write at least 500 words on poor, neglected (and resentful!) Book Three, which is tired of being shunted aside.   Find out from Brian-the-farrier when he’s delivering the lamb to John-the-rancher so I know when to be ready (with my sack of stuff) to go over to the ranch and deal with it.   It will be today or tomorrow, so work on the bookstuff has to be pushed, to leave time for the fabrication of the lamb.

Oh, yeah, and laundry and kitchen work and so on and so on.

And while I’m doing that, I hope those of you with book in hand are reading it and enjoying it.
