Synopsis Done

I emailed the synopsis off to Editor-UK this morning, then held horses for the farrier.   Horses are trimmed.   Mac pinned his ears a couple of times but gave it up after we weren’t intimidated.   Illusion stood out in the falling mist looking pitiful until it was his turn.    So I put Mac “out” (in the main horse lot) and kept Illusion in the smaller barn lot where I can check on him easily.

I looked at the online map to find the small town city hall where I’m supposed to meet for the regional transportation focus group later today.   Checked the time of that.   My rancher friend and my farrier would both be good on this group, but neither had the time.   I already have J-‘s take on the situation.  Chatted with farrier about it, and  got his opinion so I can share it there.

Just went out without a rain hat to check on Illusion, who seemed a bit down today and found him  standing in his stall, munching away on hay.    Eyes bright, nose clear,  appetite obviously fine.   Left him there in peace (Mac has taken to bullying him more) and hope he’s cheerier by afternoon.   I  got water droplets on inside of the right half of the right lens of my glasses…must’ve tilted my head at some point, but how did the rain get behind my glasses??

My throat feels raw–maybe too much talking as well as singing over the weekend.  Hope it’s just that.  Can’t afford to be sick at all.   Or it could be the weather, which is at that stage where it’s neither warm nor cold, just WET.

I’m back to revisions, while thinking my way through a blog post Editor would like me to do.  Revisions are more than half done, in terms of the number of points, but the longer ones may take longer.   Editor found three blank pages in the manuscript–goofups in page breaks.    And sometimes I can’t find them in my files…I do look, but stuff happens.
