Paksworld

This has nothing to do with Paksworld topics, but it’s related to the writing life, so….

One of the delights of a writer’s life is a friend’s well-deserved success.   Though I’m bursting with news I can’t tell…I can say that a good friend, talented in several directions, got serious about his writing about eight or nine years ago and I thought showed considerable promise.  His stuff’s not anything like my stuff, but that’s immaterial–he’s a born storyteller.

After various rejections (such as nearly all receive), there is now Interest.  Can’t say more, but feeling bouncy joy at the possibility–nay, probability–that Something Will Come of This.    Could not happen to a better person.
