Brief Explanatory Post

The other two in the family were in a car wreck today.   They were rear-ended while stopped behind another car, waiting to turn when the light changed.  They’re OK; car is now in for repair.   I am buried in work.   Sorry about that; it’s going to be this way for a couple of weeks at least.   Only some of the LifeStuff was expected, and that’s not even counting the car.

People are important; cars can be replaced. I am glad they are OK, and I hope they have no delayed neck trouble.

Take it slow. Cars are replaceable. People are the important ones.

Dig yourself out as you can. If your loyal followers can help, they will.

Stay warm – it is freezing up here in NH.

How horrendously scary for you, and for your menfolk – so glad they are okay. As others have said, cars can be repaired or replaced; loved ones might be able to be repaired, if necessary, but you can’t replace them. *Hugs*, because it’s enough to throw anybody off track.

    Deep breath, handle wha
t you can, when you can. Most people will understand! The rest of the bunch a not worth your time. Hard lessen learned. Take care of family and yourself first, the rest can wait. You can never tell when that family will no longer be there. Sending good vibs and prayers for you and yours. june

I’m sorry the disaster fairy had to come and visit. But glad it isn’t worse.

    Free advice:

    (1) Don’t talk to the other guy’s insurer (or if he wasn’t insured, your insurer) without a lawyer you trust present.

    (2) There’s no point in being polite to insurance claim adjusters.

    Best wishes to all.

As many others have already said. People matter more than cars. Looks after them and yourself. Even if they did rear end your family I hope the others were also unhurt.

Glad the humans are relatively unscathed … the emotional toll can be distressing, even if the body is “unhurt”. Hope you have a chance to unwind. Blessed be.

Bummer. There seems to be a lot of misfortune happening lately — I blame it on January, why not. Still and all, rejoice in the fortunate aspects, and then hunker down and do what you can when you can. And don’t forget to take care of yourself. Best wishes to all.

I hope the repairs go smoothly, and there are no lingering effects on the other two members of the family. Life-stuff is complicated enough without sudden additions, so best wishes for a lull in which to slow down, catch up, and regain equilibrium.
