The Thursday and Friday were fizzles as far as writing was concerned, and Saturday wasn’t especially good, but did produce something, and this evening the scenes I’d been contemplating while driving to and from church today came alive, so I made both my week goal of 10,0oo words and I’m on track to meet\u00a0 my month goal as of midnight Sunday (yes, it’s after midnight–just finished work at 11:54.)<\/p>\n
It’s coils-within-coils time, apparently, another sign that this is the hinge volume of the story.\u00a0\u00a0 My plot daemon has been busily at work, tunneling away below my awareness and making layers of complexity that I’m now running into in the surface of “Stuff Happening.”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This may have been what stopped forward progress cold at the end of the week…I had to figure out what I’d just stumbled over.<\/p>\n
