The present instance of this is a battle.\u00a0 It’s not a big battle (it’s big to those in it, of course) but it needs to serve several long-plot purposes as well as a short plot purpose or three, and like many military engagements “no plan survives contact with the enemy.”\u00a0 In this case, the “civilian” plan of\u00a0 serving the plot isn’t working.<\/p>\n
I\u00a0 don’t have a solution yet.\u00a0\u00a0 I now know why my first POV was doing what he did, but it’s still stupid and he can’t do that.\u00a0\u00a0 His purposes must be accomplished another way.\u00a0\u00a0 I know what my second POV thinks the first POV was doing, but that doesn’t work either.\u00a0\u00a0 I need to back way up.<\/p>\n
