Today, when I planned to do a whole lot of other stuff, has produced, so far, 2600 words and a character I did not anticipate in any way.<\/p>\n
In other words, another plot bomb.\u00a0 A BIG plot bomb.\u00a0 A big enough plot bomb that I’m questioning whether it’s really a plot bomb or maybe I’ve gone totally bonkers.\u00a0 True, books do produce more plot bombs toward the end (usually, if they have any…) but this…<\/p>\n

Those of you who have read my story “Judgment” in the Dragon Quintet <\/em>anthology have a head start.\u00a0 I hope that’s not too much spoiler.<\/p>\n Any way, my hands hurt, my elbow hurts, and my busy brain is saying “More!\u00a0 More!!”\u00a0\u00a0 I have no idea what’s coming next.\u00a0 I have no idea whether what’s coming next really belongs in this book or has shoved its way in via a fiction-dimensional gate from another book.\u00a0\u00a0 (NO says the little voice in my head.\u00a0\u00a0 I GIVE YOU PLOT.\u00a0 WRITE, DAMMIT.\u00a0 WHAT YOU THINK, I GIVE THIS PLOT TO EVERYONE?)<\/p>\n Yes, yes, writers are totally crazy, we established that months ago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Make for exciting stories.
