{"id":1313,"date":"2011-09-08T17:40:01","date_gmt":"2011-09-08T23:40:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.paksworld.com\/blog\/?p=1313"},"modified":"2011-09-08T17:40:01","modified_gmt":"2011-09-08T23:40:01","slug":"back-at-work-and-back-from-dragoncon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.paksworld.com\/blog\/?p=1313","title":{"rendered":"Back at Work (and Back from Dragon*Con)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just got back today.\u00a0 Had two good writing days on trains (2000+ words each day) after a brief conference with Editor at the convention.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As usual, time away from a project allows more balanced contemplation of what&#8217;s already been done.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I realized, for instance, that a pivotal scene I&#8217;d been thinking about for months had never actually made it into the computer&#8211;an extreme case of &#8220;I know that, but I didn&#8217;t show that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->I worked on it on the train.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a hard one to write&#8211;there&#8217;s a lot of unfamiliar &#8216;magic&#8217;
